The basic decorative components of capoeira have been introduced into Brazil by enslaved people , mostly from west and also west-central Africa. These components were recombined and reinterpreted over the diverse enslaved community of Brazil to make a distinctive means of self security , both pushed and concealed –as merely a dancing –using its musical accompaniment. Slavery was abolished in Brazil in 1888, however capoeira continued to prosper over that the Afro-Brazilian inhabitants , especially from the populous state of Bahia.
